Hi, I'm Monique, the Owner and Founder of Platinum Cleaning Services (formerly known as Diamond Status Cleaning). I have over 35 years of experience in cleaning - 15 years professionally.
It all started at the age of 8, when I creatively drew a picture on my bedroom wall with a crayon. My Mother was so mad at my little Sister and I. She said, "I'm not going to wash that off of that wall, you are!" She got a bucket of soapy water with Pine-sol, 2 sponges and rags. She said you have 30 minutes to remove your Picasso painting - my white walls better sparkle or else! My Sister and I scrubbed that wall, clean as a whistle!
As a lesson, not to write on walls again, washing walls was added to our small list of weekly chores.
It's funny how that life lesson carried on to my adult life and into a business!
